Franco Sarto Women''s Rocket Boot

I bought two pairs of this boot when it was a Lightning deal, in smoke grey and camel derby. The smoke grey really looks more like a dark dark brown, but the camel derby is a very nice color. The zipper on the outside is just for show, but the inner zipper is the one that works. I have pretty wide calves and these fit nicely, and with some room to spare, probably due to the elastic band on the back of the boot. Although I usually wear a 6.5 the 7 was ok without socks and probably would have been just right with socks; I would recommend ordering a size up.

The style of the boot is nice, and although I''m short (just under 5''5") I didn''t think the shaft height was overwhelming. However, they did bunch at the ankle, which I didn''t like, and it was a bit of a struggle to get my foot in the boot. I also wasn''t crazy about the quality of the leather; I own a pair of Franco Sarto boots and the leather on that pair is soft whereas this one is a bit stiff and too shiny for my liking.

These boots looked great.Leather was of decent quality.HOWEVER, the fit was off and the zipper did not work properly so i had to return them.I probably would have returned them anyway because the 6.5 did not fit my normally 6.5 feet. The toe box area was narrow. The calf was small too, and i have wider than usual calves.Would recommend for petite women, narrow feet and calves

After reading the reviews, I was really excited about these shoes. However, they were very scratchy and uncomfortable on the top of my foot. The heel came to such a tiny point that I felt like I was wobbling. Also, the tip of the shoe came to a point, which I didn''t care for. I didn''t end up wearing these shoes, I dug some older white ones out of the closet. They were also uncomfortable, but I was able to kick them off under the table for relief. I would have been trapped in these for the night. They were only $20, so it''s not a huge deal. I will likely find someone to give them to one day.

This is a very poor product for three reasons:

The velcro does not hold when wet, causing he sandal fall off the foot.

The pink, where the foot sits, is very slippery when wet.

The top of the sandal is very uncomfortable.

This is my first True Religion shoe and I love it; it fits me perfectly, run true to side. It''s way comfortable than other high wedges that I have. It looks better than the pictures. Great with jeans and denim shorts.

So I didn''t order these shoes off amazon, but I just wanted to give a review so other people can understand how awesome these shoes are. They are beautiful, I have them in blue.. they are pretty comfortable considering the 5 inch heel, and I dont think the heel is made of wood even though it looks like it, they have a little more shock absorption than wood which contributes to the comfyness. And they are very sturdy.. at least appear and feel that way I have only worn them once so far. Definitely worth the cost!!

Birkenstock Arizona Soft Footbed Sandal

I love Birks... this purchase is replacing a pair of black suede Arizona sandles that I wore and did not take care of this winter!

I do own over 30 pairs of Birks all different styles and types...

However, this is the first pair of "soft footbed" Birks I have purchased and WOW! what comfort! They appear to be identical to my old pair but that little layer of foam in the footbed makes a wonderful difference. I have been wearing them to walk on my treadmill every evening instead of my "sneakers". If I have a choice of traditional footbed or soft footbed I will always pick the soft footbed when I puchase any pair of Birks from now on !

I love the style of these boots, but it is clear that they were manufactured at two totally different times, possibly in different places. The soles are constructed of different materials, not perhaps obvious when you''re walking down the street, but certainly when you are eyeing them when you open the box. Even the font and color of the size number is totally different (not that that affects the overall appearance). The color is described as "distressed" and indeed they are that if you are expecting something to look like a shiny new boot, these don''t; they black stain is rubbed in inconsistently throughout the boot. They are a bit narrow in the heel. I typically wear an 8.5 or 9, and I bought a 9 in these. I have athletic calves at 14.5" and they allow room to tuck in a pair of skinny jeans without being too saggy.

These boots are amazing leather and the color is actually a darker worn gray.They fit absolutely perfect. I wear a 7.5 and that''s what I ordered.I have small calves and it''s hard to find boots that actually hug my calves, but these ones do.

The Donald J Pliner "Jazlyn" shoe is good looking and easy to wear.The 3 inch heels and elastic straps make for happy feet.The open toe is wide enough so that my toes are not cramped.I bought both colors about a year ago, and have worn them at many events which require me to dance and/or stand around for hours at a time.The shoes still look great.The elastic bands have not "stretched-out", so the fit is suitably snug.I feel secure when I have to run down the street in order to catch a bus or a taxi.I know the shoes will not fall off!If DJP decides to offer this style in colors other than the two colors which I own, I will purchase the newer versions for my collection.
