I have liked these shoes a lot. They are very comfortable. They are pretty versatile as well. I wear them when I am dressing up a little, dressing business casual or with jeans and a t-shirt to go to the store.

The issues other people describe as far as wearing them in I experienced as well, but those went away quickly. It dug into the front of my ankle a little but that went away after a couple days. It rubbed around the sides and back of my ankle a little but not so much that it was unbearable plus that went away after about a week.

The only down side I see is off-white bottoms of the soles get very dirty very quickly and I can''t get them clean. I tried cleaning it with water but it didn''t work. Even a little soap had very little affect. Dirt seems to cling to this material really well. But that''s on the bottom of the shoe so usually not noticeable. It is started to creep up the sides in the back though. I need to figure out a way to get it clean.

Makes walking on hard surfaces comfortable, but the tongue of this shoe cut into the front of my ankle and I returned them. I ordered Wallabees instead after trying them in a local store.

I just received my Clarks Suomi Camps.So far, I will say that they are fantastic.Very comfy.I am a big fan of Clarks, so I expected this.Sort of a hybrid between a boat shoe and a moc.The sort of shoe that goes anywhere.Very versatilecasual comfort.Can be worn sockless in the summer with shorts or with jeans or khakis.

Look forward to giving these much use and wearing them in quickly.

The good is that these shoes are amazingly comfortable in terms of the sole, cushion, and fit.And they look really cool.I''m a runner, and I''ve had a lot of plantar fascia issues, and these shoes seem to be great for that.I haven''t put insoles in them, and haven''t needed them.

The downside would be the "breaking in" aspect for the upper.I haven''t owned a pair of leather shoes that needed to be broken in a bit in a long time, so maybe it''s me.But the back part rubbed my heel raw (made better with band-aids) until they softened up.The other thing is that the edge of the top presses against just below my ankle so that it hurts a LOT when I walk.I''m hoping this loosens up and goes away, because otherwise this is a perfect shoe!

UPDATE 4 months later: The shoes completely broke in after about a month, and are now great. This is one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I''ve owned. Also very durable. Not waterproof I''ve discovered... But in terms of a super comfortable shoe that looks a little different than what''s usually out there, they''re perfect. I''d recommend them to anyone. Of course, it seems like they''re being phased out by Clarks...
