I live in Fit Flops, so I''m always on the lookout for a style that looks less like "flipflops." These are really pretty, look like dress sandals. I purchased the black and they''re patent, so I don''t know how they would look in other colors, maybe too shiny. But if you want something really cute, and really comfortable, I highly recommend Fit Flops. By the way, I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe, but in open Fit Flops, I purchase a size 7. They run large, and the uppers are leather, so they stretch, plus they''re an open design. I know they''re expensive for rubber-soled shoes, but if you need the support, they''re worth every penny. I have my money where my recommendations lie: I own at least 8 pairs!

I was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and a heel bone spur.It all started when a co-worker urged me to buy the FitFlop slippers.It wasn''t long before I couldn''t wait to get home and get out of my shoes and into my slippers.Well, one pair of clogs, one pair of sandals and now one pair of tennis shoes, I am sold.These have completely alleviated my foot pain.I am waiting for a pair of custom orthotics from the podiatrist.Given how pleased I am with the FitFlop line I don''t know if I will actually wear the orthotics that much.So, if you have foot pain give these shoes a try, they provide excellent arch support but lots of cushion in the heel.

I really love these sandals.They are nicer looking and less expensive than many "comfort sandal" options.They do not rub, pinch, or gap.Please heed the other reviews: that they do seem to run a full size large.I normally wear an 8 and I ordered a 7.The fit is perfect, even with my very high arches.
