Overall: This shoe looks great edgy and striking.But it''s 2pm and I''m looking for excuses to sit down...ouch!Fit:I have size 8.5-9 feet.My feet are on the wide side, which more often pushes me up to the 9s.I have 3 other pairs of Oh...Deer! heels (Sheryl and 2 colors of Waldorf) and they are all 9s and fit fine.I ordered these in a 9 and, like the others, they fit pretty well the length and width accommodate my foot well enough.But also like the other 3 pairs, I wish there were more (some!) arch support and padding on the ball of the foot, as it feels like I''m tip-toeing on concrete all day.Granted, the heel is high, but the shape of the instep doesn''t support my foot through the arch, which puts lots of pressure on the ball of my foot.I also chose to wear them to work, which probably wasn''t the best decision.As mentioned above, it''s 2pm and my feet are done.
Look/Style:LOVE THEM!I have them in green and they are the perfect skinny jeans sandal.Green patent, black/silver ribbon, and silver accents all balanced so that nothing dominates.The silver platformis eye-catching and the heel...eeek, it gets teeny at the bottom, but looks hard and edgy without being fierce.
I got them at another site for $16 for that kind of deal I have absolutely no regrets.I would not pay $200 for them for comfort reasons.But if you can run in 4" heels all day, then go for it.
