I am a big fan of BJ''s high heel shoes. I must confess, though, that this is my very first flat shoes to own. I am usually not interested in flat shoes at all, but these BJ''s ballet flat (leopard) are so cute that I could not pass. Besides, the price was less than 50% of the original price. They were great buy!My usual size is 7.5 to 8, and my size was already sold out. I think that Betsey''s shoes ran a little smaller with narrow width, so I decided to give a try with 8.5. After they arrived, I found that they were not awfully big. I may say they quite comfortably fit to my feet, or just slightly big. Since my feet are wide, it could have been tighter with smaller size. I may recommend someone with wider feet to order at least one size larger. For narrow feet, they may perfectly fit with the right size, but I am not sure. If you have wider feet like me, you can try these shoes without worry. Crochet is so soft, and the shoes hug my feet really gently.
Since I am a beginner to own flat shoes, I did some homework to wear them comfortably. I am going to buy heel support (e.g. Profoot Heel Snugs 1 Pair) for better fit around heel area to prevent blister. I am also going to get arch support (e.g. Dr. Scholl''s For Her Heavenly Arch Supports), which is lacked from typical flat shoes, as well as friction block stick (e.g. Band-Aid Activ-Flex Blister Block Stick 0.34 oz.). Then I will be good to go:)
