Foot Petals Tip Toes Cushions Shoe Inserts , Black Iris

Foot Petals Tip Toes Cushions Shoe Inserts , Black IrisOkay, I couldn''t resist the great little pair of shoes and their great price.Okay, they were a little big.I solved the problem with foot petals and another item by the same company that grips the back of the shoe.

I''ve tried various generic brands of cushions like these, particularly for the ball-of-foot (Tip Toes), with varying degrees of success & satisfaction, but Foot Petals are my favorite. They are the costliest of all the brands I''ve tried but they perform the best & despite them looking like thin, flimsy foam, they are anything but! they''re very durable & effective at cushioning the tender balls of my feet in my high heels. The adhesive is so super-strong that I have difficulty removing the entire pad when they get dirty or old. For the most part, I try to keep the same cushion in each pair of shoes permanently & just overlook the fact that they get dirty over time. Black is the best color as they don''t show dirt, but I love the beige/nude for shoes & sandals that are light colored. Generally these are about $7-$8 per pair but I love when I can find them at a discount either on sale or lower cost in multi-packs. I stock up every time I find them at lower cost. Generally I buy these locally but I love that they are now finally available pretty much everywhere, online & in stores. I''ve been using these lovelies since 2001.

These kept my toes from scrunching to the front of my pumps. You would be suprised how much more comfortable a shoe fits when you are not sliding in them.

I really wish they were cheaper or at least free shipping and handling.

Maybe i will try to look for a knock off next time.

I''m not sure if it works for me. I have tiny feet, and I tried to put these in my 4in ankle boots to stop me from slipping forward in them. I still slip forward in them, but less than I did before though that could be due to a number of different factors instead of the foot petals. I tried adjusting the placement of them a few times, but the adhesive wore off as I kept going. It also wasn''t entirely clear which way I should have oriented the petal, though I''m not sure it made too much of a difference. I''ll pick it up again in a store if I see it and give it another shot, but I''m not totally sold that it does anything yet.

I found these at Nordstrom, and decided to try them because, while I love heels, they don''t love me back so much. These inserts help to alleviate pain in the ball of my foot so I can wear my heels longer, but like other reviewers have said, they''re no miracle cure. It''s not like suddenly I can walk for miles in my heels. But, unless I can find my miracle cure, these are good enough for now, and I pretty much put them in all my heels. Has anyone tried any of the other ball of foot cushions, besides Dr. Sholl''s which I hate? Any of them better? Or all pretty much the same?
