So, I''d been wanting a pair of shoes like this for quite sometime, and when I got these in the mail, I was pretty excited. They were quite tight when I first put them on, but I associated that with my kinda wide feet. I was able to break them in rather easily anyhow, and the canvas top held up really well. I even sloshed around in the rain with them a bit. I wear 9, 9.5 or a 10. The 9.5 was pretty perfectthey didn''t slip off when I was walking around. But there are cons; the sole isn''t rubber or anything. You are basically just walking around on the wicker/rope part. This part did not hold up in the rain as well as the canvas upper.....go figure. I got them in June, started wearing them right away, and I''d worn the soles away by mid-August. But I think this is because I walk everywhere, and I was using them as my main shoes. If you just want a cute flat to wear every once in a while, or if you don''t have to walk everywhere, they''d probably hold up a lot longer. But! They are just so cute, and go great with everything, so I''m actually planning on purchasing another pair!
