Have been using these inserts since 1980. That year I ran my first marathon with Spenco''s in my running shoes. Finished in 4 hours and 30 minutes with no blisters. I have used Spenco Rx Comfort Insoles for around 15 years now.I would not even consider wearing athletic or casual shoes without them.The only reason I do not usually wear them in my dress shoes is that I wear prescription orthotics over them and they don''t fit in my dress shoes.They provide just the right amount of cushioning, are easy to keep clean, and last for years if rotated regularly.As a matter of fact, I am placing an order now to replace two pairs I have had since 2005.The old ones are still usable but starting to lose a bit of their cushioning.One of the few "perfect products" I have ever bought.

Yes, I''ve ordered two sets at different times and they both have a strong chemical smell.I''ve aired them outside for a couple of days to hopefully break down any harmful chemicals.As to sizing, my tennis shoes are size 7.5 M and I ordered the Women''s 7-8 and did not have to trim the insoles to fit.I did remove the original insole from my Asics. This is a basic insole without extra arch support or even contouring, just a little extra cushioning.
