I went to Macy''s (amazon showroom) to try on the shoe first, then scanned the bar code and bought the shoe on amazon for $30 cheaper.They are accurate to size.

These shoes are pretty nice looking.Also the backing is elastic-like so it easily conforms to my calves. Whenever I want to eat like a fatty and gain some weight, the shoe immediately adapts and leaves me free from purchasing larger shoes.

I haven''t worn them in rough weather yet, but they hold up well during my mile-long walk to classes so far.

I purchased these boots because I have larger calves and wanted a riding boot I could wear with jeans and dresses.I did find I don''t think I will be able to tuck jeans into these but they looked fabulous with tights and a skirt.Very dressy and classy looking, I have size 13" calves.
