I purchased these shoes because I was having surgery on my feet for bone spurs.The laces are elastic and not only stretch, but can be adjusted to the perfect size for either foot.Soft as a cloud to walk on and good support for a sandel.There is even enough room for my arch supports without my heel falling out of the back of the shoe.Love them!Lynn, WY
