Betsey Johnson Women''s Haylie Sandal

Okay, so as far as looks go this shoes is terrific!! I got it in bone (which is actually more of a pure white I would say) leather with the rosebud print. It is such a pretty pattern, just perfect for spring. The knotted bow on the instep is a cute touch, as is the slight "pleats/ruching" coming down from underneath the bow to the sole. The heel is quite high at 5 inches, but the platform in front is 1 1/2 inches so it does relieve some of the pressure on you foot. The only thing I didn''t like about this shoe is that it has a heavy odor to it. Kind like a mix between glue and salami (seriously guys, I could not make this up!!). Even after airing them out for days I could still vaguely smell it. Luckily I have not yet been followed by any hungry dogs while wearing them (thank goodness). I only have the one pair, like I said it is the smooth leather version so I am not sure if the suede version has a stench or not. Overall all though I really like the color and style of this shoe.

These are so cute in person. They''re pretty comfortable too. I would suggest getting 1/2 size smaller since it runs a little big.

My only gripe is that the painted bottom of the shoe is peeling off with just one nights use. I am not comparing because I got them on sale.
