I bought two pairs. One for my 17 month old, and another for my 5 year old. They look adorable but they are very hard to bend. My baby never even wore them because they were very hard to walk in

I purchased these sandals (little flower) for my three year old with very narrow feet and a very narrow calcaneus. She is also a kid who wears above the ankle orthotics due to overpronation. But I wanted to have some good sandals with good arch support for the summer when taking a break from the orthotics and these came highly recommended. She measures exactly a nine, so I ordered a 27 (9-9.5) thinking they would be great with some growing room well they were enormous, over 1 inch too long.So I sent them back and got a 26 (8.5)which fit and have some room to grow they can be adjusted enough to hold in her very narrow little feet. She walks great in them and she doesn''t complain of her feet or legs hurting. Plus they are just so cute.Just order at least .5 size smaller.Read Best Reviews of Birki''s Aruba Sandal (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid) Here

Would be OK sandals for $25 (all made out of synthetic materials). Another thing that both my sons do not like is that the dirt like small stones and sticks easily get between the foot and the sole which makes it very uncomfortable to walk.
