Not my first or last pair of Birks, but these are probably the coolest. They do require a breaking in period because of the thick, firm leather...but they will last long too. I got the narrow 37 and i wear a size 7 to 7 &half in some shoes. Very happy. They are my "summer boots", mostly with dresses. The center strip can be removed for a banded look, if you tired of gladiator.

Well this is my first time, A virgin shoe shopper Never have I purchased shoes online for myself. It''s risky business I have wide feet that sometimes fit an 8, 8.5, or a 9. But I love Birkinstocks. I wish these shoes came in half-sizes. I tried multiple sizes on these, and thought I finally found one that fit the way Birkenstock recommends, but it turns out I have to keep sliding my foot forward to keep the arch and the toes in the right spot, or I stand on the raised bits. Basically, there''s too much heal room, and tightening the ankle strap doesn''t seem to help to keep my foot in place. Wide sizes would also be better, since if I go any shorter, I''ll be standing on the edges.

Otherwise an excellent quality sandal, and they look fabulous.

I wanted to try a new style of birks, so I went for gladiator to pair w more skirts/dresses, etc. so good!!! Though, did take a week or so to break them in (ie weird rubbing on interior ankle at first). I stuck with them and they''re softer now and so solid.

These shoes are great, comfy and cute. Sassy enough to wear with brown tights and a skirt or with a pair of slacks. Great fall/winter kicks. I love Born shoes. Love these Ralph Lauren boots.I went a 1/2 size smaller after reading other reviews and they fit fine.(I had to return the first pair because of the shoddy workmanship on that pair; there was glue spilled over from where the sole meets the shoe and it was on the suede in several places plus the stitching on one shoe was coming off.)My replacement pair is perfect, no excess glue on the suede and stitching is perfect.The boots are also comfortable, not as comfortable as my Naturalizer boots but more comfortable than my Nike sneakers! lol I bought the "dark olive" pair and they look like a pretty brown color.The other "brown" colored boots look stark whereas these have a more textured look and are not too green as true "olive" would be.I''d consider these brownish.They remind me of the "waffle stomper" boots we used to wear in the 80''s in Okla. & NY, but these are now more girlie. :)

This boot arrived and I was very excited. I loved, loved, loved the color. It fit well, I wear a 10 and it fit perfectly in the foot. The problem was the boot shaft. I believe the measurement was a 15 inch circumference? I didn''t measure but I think it was a generous 15 inches. I can easily wear a 14 1/2 with no issues.After I zipped it up, I could EASILY push my hand all the way down the shaft almost to my ankle.A little big to say the least. If you are looking for a larger calved boot, this might be for you. The zipper is gored. (The area behind the zipper is connected by a triangle of suede.) This made the boot shaft stick out more.That was my whole issue with this boot.I admit to being picky about the way the top of the boot fits. So if this is your issue as well, you may want to pass on it. I returned mine. :(

Cool walking boots. The style is casual motorcicle ridding boot but with a stylish femenine urban look.

They run half size bigger than my actual size, but it is ok since I can wear them with jeans and thick shocks.

These boots are Fall-Winter look but not for snowing days. Nevertheless, they look great and are super comfortable.

The boots I bought for a gift for my girlfriend were used and damaged. I did not have time to inspect before I wrapped them and they should have been perfect. I was very embarrassed in front of her family. They cost me $15 to ship them back and am now being told it takes weeks to replace used,damaged boots that should not have been sent in the first place. When I got these boots and tried them on, the first thing I noticed was the right boot was tighter than the left, much tighter. I looked closer at the right boot and noticed little indentations on the foot part. The indentations looked like the knobs on those stretching devices for shoes. Looking closer, I saw the what appeared to be glue between the sole and foot portion and became concerned if they would stay together. I''m not taking any chances and will send them back. Very disappointed in Kenneth Cole. Very.
