Well, needless to say, I contacted Amazon about exchanging them (I thought I''d just gotten a dud pair and wanted to give them another shot).Amazon was fantastic. They sent me the free return shipping label immediately and promised to have a new pair in the mail asap.Unfortunately (so I thought at the time), I received an email the following day explaining that Amazon was out of the grey Adrians, so they refunded my money instead.Well, that turned out to be a good thing, because the pair I ordered for my five-year-old hasn''t held up much better. His shoes haven''t actually come apart at the seams or anything like that, but I get the impression that they could at any point. It seems like I''m cutting loose strings off every time he wears them.Understand that these haven''t been his everyday shoes since April. He really only wore them for about six weeks, choosing instead to wear sandals almost every day since May.His Adrians sit in the mud room looking much older and far more used than they really are.Ratty is a good word to describe them.It really is unfortunate.I will not buy this type of shoe from Pediped again. However, I will give them another chance.I''ve had far too many good experiences with their products before the Adrian Flex to write the brand off altogether.I went up a size from what my daughter is wearing in other Pediped styles, and still I can hardly get the velcro strap to extend all the way across the top of her foot to match the velcro on the other side. She does have a high instep, and a rather "puffy" foot.So if your child''s foot is high or wide like this, know that the fit might be snug. (I can''t go any larger in size, because the length is fine.)Still, a very cute style, and wonderful Pediped quality.

I''m glad I read previous reviews and purchased one size up.My daughter needed a 5.5 size shoe and she''s still mastering how to run.So I wanted to stay with a soft sole shoe.I tried Bobux but she wore through them in just 3 weeks.I looked at Umi''s and Robeez and they were too expensive or they were not athletic style shoes.Finding a size 5.5 shoe is also tricky.I have plenty of shoes that claims to be a 5.5 size but they all ended up too big and falls off her feet when she runs.So I''m glad I came upon Pediped. This is EXACTLY what I''m looking for.I wanted a heavy duty shoe that can handle the all the running she wants PLUS keep the soles soft so she can master the heal to toe running PLUS it''s a size 5.5.
I purchased the size 6 to 6.5 pink one and it fits her perfectly.I can''t put socks on her otherwise it might be a bit snug.Maybe super thin socks, but definitely not thick kind.
I know she''s happy with these shoes because she''ll hand me these shoes to wear as opposed to the other pair of Bobux OR her Crocs.Yes she''s only 22 months old but she what shoes makes her happy!

I love pedipeds and so do my sons but these feel a bit bulcky. They run small so I would go up a size when ordering. My son wears a 9.5 so I ordered the 10-10.5 & they are almost too small. They are very cute though. Haven''t tried to wash them yet.

It makes all the differnce to give you kid good shoes. It''s a false economy to keep buying the garbage form Payless Kids. I''m on kid 3 and have only just figured this out!! Doh!
