I read all of the reviews about how the size felt too small, but I went ahead and ordered the smallest size that I usually wear anyway.. the 8.5 were $186 and the 8 were $80, so I figured I would suffer a bit for $100.. no biggie.Well when I put them on, they weren''t really that tight! They are definitely snug, but I never wear socks so they fit just fine for me.They already started to stretch out after a few minutes of wear.I have larger calves (didn''t think I did until I started searching for boots.... they''re made for stick people!).. anyway, finally this is a boot that leaves me room to be able to fit jeans inside. Love it!!

false: i got french roast and it definitely looks darker than the picture here.... you can only tell its brown under very bright light.I''m keep thinking they sent me the wrong color.. but yea.. oh wellz!
