Ihave bilateral plantar faciitis and if you know what that is then you know how it feels, and wearing these sandals helps to alleviate the pain all together because of it''s ability to conform to your feet and give excellent support. I recommend these sandals to anyone who wants comfort for their feet and especially for those folks who needs support inside the house and are not able to walk barefoot. The inside sole of this shoe feels like suede and is very soothing to the foot, along with the support contours that I need. I prefer the birkibuc to the suede straps because bircubuc holds its shape when the shoe is off so you can slip your foot right in where suede collapses and you have to wriggle in. I''m not crazy about the color--it is kind of a stone cold gray and I would have preferred some warmer brown tones--but I had already exchanged the shoe two times and didn''t want to do it again. I love these sandals, of course. Super comfy! But if they''re new shouldn''t they include the cork sealer that is included with all new Birkenstocks when you buy them? Now I have to spend about $10 more to buy the cork sealer separately which is annoying as I have to wait to wear these until I receive the cork sealer.
