Have to respectfully disagree with the previous review.Yes we''d all like to pay less than $150+ for a pair of sandals, but the market bears a lot more than that these days -think Arche and Rabotin -and, considering shoes and sandals I''ve bought for the same amount of money as for these Campers that have been made with crappy leather, have glue hanging out of the seams, or are stinky with formaldehyde (see Fly London) -not to mention items that pinch, don''t seem like they would fit anybody''s feet and just don''t make sense -these sandals are head and shoulders above. Now I know everybody''s feet are different, but these sandals fit mine like a dream (I''m a pretty true size 10 with a true medium width), and they feel like heaven on.Virtually no pitch because of the platform, and easy to walk in out of the box with great cushioning and the platform gives just enough so you don''t feel like you''re walking on blocks, with a slightly rocker-like shape that helps your tread besides. These sandals also give you a sure tread, don''t know how since the wedge narrows quite a bit at the sole, but I don''t feel wobbly in them a bit, and I have the tendency to wobble.Plus that, they''re a classic and beautiful design, with very soft leather that gives and adapts to your foot right away.I don''t foresee any break in blisters here. And, to my eyes, they are anything but rustic -they look as well made as they are and very polished. You can wear them easy and casual or dress them up with no problem.Have to say, they''re the best sandals I''ve found in a long time, and I look constantly.A little pricey, yes, but I don''t feel like I had my pockets picked.I got something fabulous looking and fabulously comfortable for the money here. But I offer just one warning:the sizing is a bit off.Though 40 is supposed to be a 10, I took a 41 and it''s not in any way too generous.I''d also say, if your foot is really wide, you probably won''t do well with these.Narrow, you''ll probably be okay, but that depends how narrow.

I bought these shoes last Summer and was able to appreciate the quality and simplicity of the design and materials.
What really disappointed me is how narrow the soles were and how tight the straps were .... the leather is soft and I cannot say the straps hurt my feet, but they do not look very attractive being so narrow. My feet are not wide and I wear a 6 but still the measurements for these shoes are for a narrow, thin foot .... and being as expensive as they are you should know that before you buy them.

I love the design. I like that it''s a wedge but doesn''t look chunky. The yellow is cheerful but not overpoweringly loud. (I have light tan skin and I like how this deep yellow goes with my skin tone.)
And it''s really comfy!
