This is my second go round with this boot. The first pair lasted almost 10 years and I cried when they died. These are even more comfortable and took less time to break in, because they have made the boots easier to get into.

They are simply wonderful for winter wear. I don''t even need socks to be comfortable in them; they feel good with or without socks.

I am in love with these boots; I stood outside for hours on a chilly Virginia night the first day I got them, and not only were they comfortable, but my toes didn''t feel a moment of biting wind/cold!

My only negative point is that the laces it comes with are round, and they can tend to untie themselves readily. Also, I ordered an 8.5 Wide, and they fit a little big (I have fat feet, so this is rarely a problem); I''m assuming that the expectation is that one would wear thick socks with them, so the little extra room is probably just for that. Just a thought if you only *just* fit into the Wide category.

I sent for this item having had toe warmers before.The width was a N (2AA).I was disappointed in sizing as the show was very wide even with the N width. My foot slid from side to side so I had to return..While toe warmers are a great shoe, this style did not work for me.
