Here is the deal-these shoes are not going to improve your sex life.They look like nurses shoes, only in black.But these puppies are EXTREMELY comfortable and easy to walk in.The foot bed is soft and cushy--and your feet feel like they are walking on pillows.They a flat black in color--very flat--no shine to them.I think you could possibly get a military spit shine going on them, but I would have to ask "why?"If you wear orthodics, I am going to guess that you would want to pass on these due to the open back.The soles are non-slip high quality dense rubber.

The sizing is exact-I am a true size 11 wide.99% of the time, 11 wides fit me perfectly.And these are no exception.If I had to evalute the wiggle room, I would say that these are a tad tighter than average, but not uncomfortably so.They do not fall off or flop when I walk.
