these shoes are extremely comfortable...would recommend to anyone who is looking for a sandal with arch support...would buy these again....I usually wear 8m but had the opportunity to try these on at Macys and found they ran wide...so I ordered the 8 2a and it was a perfect fit

The Aravon line is made by New Balance and is the best sandal I''ve ever worn.A great feature is that they come in different widths, including a 2A which is wonderful for my narrow foot. They also have a good arch support which my high instep appreciates and they are a very durable shoe.I''m still wearing the first pair I bought about four years ago (I do have another pair of the same color for dressier occasions since there is some wear showing).I have this particular sandal (the Remy) in every color Aravon''s offered since I started buying them and can''t remember when I''ve worn another brand since discovering them.

It has taken me a LONG time to find a supportive low-heel shoe in a 7WW. Amazon was much cheaper (~$30 difference) than New Balance''s site for this shoe. I''m VERY glad I purchased it. The elastic connector on top of the shoe (apex of the U-shaped leather) works wonders for comfort. The arch bed and support underfoot has a little cushion but is firm enough to last a long time. I will likely purchase another Aravon shoe/sandal in the future.

I bought these because I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet and was looking for a sandal that had a supportive and comfortable sole. These have a deep foot bed that holds your foot in, making it easier to walk. The elastic makes the sandal have some give as you walk. These are both comfortable and stylish.
