(review by Mrs. Smith) These shoes are cute, are the right size, felt comfortable from the first time I laced them up.If your feet are flippers like mine (narrow in the heel, but REALLY wide near the toes), these will feel great.The smooth leather band over the instep makes it possible to tighten up that part of the shoe without squeezing the forward part of the foot and the toes.I hope these hold up as well as my old pair of Easy Spirit brown suede lace-up shoes.... which lasted 4 years of 4-day-per-week wear.

Love, love, love these shoes! They are comfortable, look great, and everyone asks me where I got them. I try to have a pair on hand for when I need new ones, but they keep running out of my size. I find them totally true to size.

I have two other pairs of Easy Spirit shoes in a different style number and they are ultimately comfortable, but old and showing their age. These are also comfortable except for the fact that the shoe says it is an 8 narrow and it is actually a 7 1/2 narrow. I could not return them because my dearest husband threw away the box and all the paper "stuffing" that came with them.

Fortunately I have a friend who wears a 7 1/2 narrow and was ready to buy a new pair of blue shoes.She bought them from me and says they are a perfect fit.I''m disappointed.She is happy.

The color blue was much brighter than on my computer screen, but given the fact that every monitor shows colors slightly differently I can''t blame this on Amazon.But these shoes are BRIGHT blue, not the denim color I was anticipating.
