Boots came to me just as expected.

I wear a size 14, and I figured it would be a little big for me, but it actually fits quite snugly. The boot actually reaches past my knee to my thigh, which was a bit surprising considering I am over 6 feet tall. I figured they''d stop at about above my knee but they indeed reach all the way to my thigh.

The material outside looks like leather, and inside is lined with a soft insulated fabric which makes it comfortable to wear.

The circumference of the boot is quite large, especially near the top, but these kinds of boots are designed to be worn with pants, so there is enough space for even jeans to fit into and still be comfortable.

The boot itself is quite sturdy, and it''s comfortable to walk around in these.

Only problem I have (which might not be a problem to others) is that I didn''t realize that the leather material from the ankle to the thigh was flimsy. The boots will come in folded over, so the leather material is not like knee high boots where you can stand the boots up entirely.

Otherwise, these are great boots. I recommend them to anyone who wants high boots for a pirate costume.

I purchased Maverick 8824 pig leather thigh high boots. The boots are so soft and comfortable. I love them. I had been looking for a while before I decided to buy this pair.

They are nice boots, definitely for the price. The only thing is that they are much taller and wider at the top than I thought from looking at the picture and probably would not have purchased them knowing that.
