These boots are so soft and supple. I have them in tobacco. The tobacco is a rich brown color (not the kind that is so dark they look black). They will fit a 15.5 calf easy. I wear a 10.5 but buy an 11 and the way the heel is made I had to use shoe horns to get them on (even though I have skinny heels). I folded them over in half, put the shoe horns in and slid them right on. If you don''t use a shoe horn the 1st couple of times until the heels are broke in the heel will collapse on you. Might not happen in smaller sizes. You can take them to a shoe repair shop and have them stretched or you can manipulate the heels until they''re pliable which helps them not fold closed. The fold over cuff is delightful and you can pull it up for an over the knee look. The hills are chunky but cute. The front is leather and the back suede but so attractive. The foot bed is like walking on air. Please, Please buy them here at Amazon as they are a great company.I tried to buy the black pair from Lucky Brand direct and their billing practice, per customer service, is to bill your account twice and caused me to be overdrawn. The best advice they could give me was my money will be back in a couple of days. Per customer service and a supervisor, this is their standard website practice to bill you twice. We''re talking about two charges over $200.00 each. But it didn''t stop there, after my telephone call to them I got billed a third time the next day and customer service denied their previous statement. I had a witness on the phone with me. The boots arrived on time and when I opened the box that said 11M, I found a pair of size 7. I called Lucky Brand and they were willing to refund all my monies except the taxes. Florida isn''t a taxing state.Sigh. It''s a shame because they have a wonderful product. Buy Amazon. Never a problem.

Hi
My first review ever... I got these boots and they are beautiful. The leather is supple and they don''t fall down like other "over the knee" boots... meaning, they stay above my knee.
The heel is a comfortable height, I have the right size (I ordered 1/2 size bigger than I used to wear) but they kind of pinch me at the ball of the foot.Pinch isn''t the right word, but they are very tight, and the leather on the shoe part is pretty sturdy.
They might stretch out, but they might not.So right now I am square on the fence whether to keep them or look for something else.
The soles would be too slick for Colorado in the winter, so I''d have to have 1/2 soles put on them, which I normally do anyway on new boots.(I tend to fall on the ice at least once ayear)
give them a shot, if they fit you will love them.
Hey, I''ve worn them around the house and the leather did stretch out where it was so tight before.I love them. The sole is my only concern. But they are cute and pretty comfortable..I''d buy them again

I absolutely love these boots! They are classy and look great with almost everything. They are comfortable as well. I wish I would have ordered the brown pair too.

These boots are awsome accept for that plasticky cuff. The rest of the boot is high quality leather andsuede. Very comfortable and look great. I just can''t figure out why they went cheap on the cuff. I gladly would pay more for real leather on that part :(

I was disappointed in this boot. The heel is plastic. I''m a 9 1/2, and with trouser socks on they fit like they were barely a nine. If the shaft is real leather, then I''m a cow. This brand promotes American rock and roll attitude, and the sticker on the sole said "Made In China". Cheap goods, and not worth the price.
