Nevados Men''s Harbor Aqua Sandal

I bought these atforbucks this spring for use on my boat and was pleasantly surprised with both the fit & comfort of them.Now I also wear them biking & on field trips with the family (Sesame Place) and they are great all purpose summer shoes.I also have an older pair of Keen Newports which I paid 3x more money for (a little heavier duty construction) but I think the Nevados are more comfortable & Keens are a little overpriced (wish I found the the Nevado''s first).Just bought two spare pairs on clearance & I should be set for quite a while now.

Runs true to size.Generous, square-ish toe box accommodates both regular (d-width) and wide (E) comfortably.Light weight overall, and comfy whether wet or dry.

Outsole is very durable and appears to be non-marking.Outsole is also very rugged, but unlike other shoes of this type, grips pretty well on soft smooth surfaces even when wet (other ''water sandals'' I''ve tried have soles that are either really soft [e.g., gummy/grippy on wet surfaces but wear quickly] or really hard [wear well but no traction at all on wet floors, stairs, rocks, etc.]).

The ''pull-on'' tab is easy to grasp and the heel cup is snug and comfortable without the annoying tendency (as some other water shoes have) of biting into the achilles tendon.

Two minor issues keep me from rating this 5 stars: 1) the cord lock for the elastic cinch strap is awkward to use w/one hand (though the shoe fit me so well I didn''t need to use it much), and 2) the insole has a tendency to slip/move around a bit.You could (I did) use a little dab of Shoe Goo or other waterproof adhesive under the heel and under the forefoot to secure the insole, but then you lose the ability to remove it to wash out sand, pebbles, etc.

Overall, I''d definitely buy them again.
