Clarks Women''s Latin Samba Thong Sandal
I LOVE my Clarks Samba sandals!I bought them because of the Clarks reputation and the reviews here on amazon.com, and I am so glad I did. They are now my favorite pair of shoes.
They are even better looking than they appear in the picture.The flower is just the right size and has extra detailing in the middle of the flower cluster.
In addition to their attractive looks, I am impressed with the quality. It has topstitching on the top strap, on the bed of the shoe, and on the sides of the soles. This stitching not only reinforces and strengthens, it adds beautiful detailing to the shoes.
The extra padding and built-in contouring in the foot bed makes them unusually comfortable. I have sensitive feet but find I can stand and walk around all day in these with no problem.
I don''t usually mention packing in my reviews, but the Clarks Company has really set the bar high with how they package these sandals. In addition to extra thick tissue paper and cardboard inserts in the shoes, the flowers came wrapped in "caps" that kept them from being flattened during shipping. How clever is that! I kept the caps so I can use them when I take the shoes traveling. I wish other companies would go the extra mile like Clarks. It probably sounds like a small thing, but adds to my satisfaction with the company and the shoes.
I ordered the "platinum" color, but found it was a "burnt gold" color when it arrived. I really wanted silver colored shoes, but these were so pretty, I kept them. So be aware that their "platinum" is not the silver you are probably thinking of. I am not a "gold" person, but this color gold is subtle, gorgeous, and go with everything.
As far as size, I recommend getting 1/2 size larger if your forefoot is wide. If your have a "normal" size foot, then order your normal size.
Bottom line is: I love my Clarks Samba sandals and I highly recommend them. I get compliments on their eye-catching looks all the time. They are very comfortable, wear well (looks like they will last several seasons), and are very stylish.

This is my second pair, I took the first pair back because after wearing them for about 45 minutes they started making an airy type sound everytime I took a step.It was from the back part of the heel on the right shoe.I''m going to return this pair and get something different I guess.Very cute and comfortable but the sound is really bad.Has anyone else had this problem?

This shoe made a great fisrt impression out of the box. It is very obviously a well-made quality shoe, from the construction down to the little styling details which are beautiful. The packaging was also very impressive, as the shoes arrived with little "shower caps" protecting the leather flowers! I was SO disappointed to find that the fit was just a bit too "sloppy" for me, kind of like a bedroom slipper. But I have narrow feet and horrible plantar fasciitis in both feet so these just didnt offer the fit & arch support that I need. The footbeds are extremely soft, like walking around on couch cushions, but as anyone with foot problems knows, cushy shoes only lead to more problems. I am sure that anyone without foot problems, or maybe just a wider foot, would find these to be wonderful. I have been wearing Orthoheels, so now anything else I put on doesnt measure up to the extremely exaggerated arch I have become accustomed to. So I returned them, but it hurt to do it since they are so nice!!!

I''ve had these sandals for six months now and I''ve found them to be comfortable and very durable. I wear them almost every day. Over time, the material kind of molds to your feet which adds to the comfort and because of this, I actually get a little arch support which is pretty great for an inexpensive pair of sandals. I have two pairs and wash them about once a week in the washer and air dry them. Other than the fact that some of the lettering on the insole has worn off, they look almost new. These boots are adorable. They are really well made and the leather is nice and soft. They make your feet look really small! They run true to size. You can roll the top down to make a wide cuff if you don''t want them to rise above your knee. Really a great boot...edgy enough for the "cool" factor, but not so much so you couldn''t wear them to church! I can''t wait for the weather to cool down so I can wear them.

I have never worn Birkenstocks and never cared to UNTIL NOW with the new Madrid. Even my 18 year old daughter likes them and she frowns upon many of my things.I have always known they were of great quality, but the style is not me. I moved to a year-round warm climate and adopted the flip flop lifestyle for awhile. Unfortunately, I was under the impression that a $10 pair of flip flops was fine. Not so. They start to stink pretty quickly, and even febreeze can''t help you. Many flip flops come with thin soles and "slippery" bottom surfaces. This pair of Oakley sandals doesnt have these problems; the soles are thick with defined markings on the bottom surface. The only downside is its pretty heavy, not sure how it will tire the legs for long walks.

Just received these attractive sandals, which are pretty light weight for a sandal with reasonably good tread (lighter than Tivas or Chacas).There are three ways to adjust them so they fit my EE feet fine on the first walk.The size 8W was almost 3/4 inch longer at the toe end, so I won''t be stubbing my toes on rocks.However, I am wondering if a 7.5 would have also left enough space.My primary purpose is to use these for hiking on amenable trails and for creek crossings and camp shoes.My previous foam sandals got me into serious trouble on a backpack last year, since the tread was inadequate to prevent slipping and breaking an arm on a steep slope down to a lake.One broken arm later, I realized tread is far more important than ultralight.

I usually buy a different isotoner style, one with the "secret sole"arch support.Some of the vendors on amazon showed that this style had the secret sole, but it doesn''t have it.Not too important for everyone, but was specifically looking for that arch support.The reason I give it one star, however, is that the stitching unraveled within 10 days.The sole separated from the fabric.The "guarantee" on the isotoner website said not to return to place of purchase; instead, return to them with $5 and they would replace it.Well, they may as well print "as is" on the item.By the time you ship it to them and pay $5, you are probably at 75% of the purchase price anyway.And who knows if the next one will be anybetter.
I was out shopping and found a pair with the secret sole at an isotoner outlet for less than $5.

I bought these for a Christmas present to my wife. They are nice looking and very soft and warm. Sadly after only 4 days of wearing them the cusioning in the soles have compressed into nothing. My wife might as well be bare foot on concrete. Not worth the money for only 4 days of comfort!
Nevados Men''s Harbor Aqua Sandal
I bought these atforbucks this spring for use on my boat and was pleasantly surprised with both the fit & comfort of them.Now I also wear them biking & on field trips with the family (Sesame Place) and they are great all purpose summer shoes.I also have an older pair of Keen Newports which I paid 3x more money for (a little heavier duty construction) but I think the Nevados are more comfortable & Keens are a little overpriced (wish I found the the Nevado''s first).Just bought two spare pairs on clearance & I should be set for quite a while now.Outsole is very durable and appears to be non-marking.Outsole is also very rugged, but unlike other shoes of this type, grips pretty well on soft smooth surfaces even when wet (other ''water sandals'' I''ve tried have soles that are either really soft [e.g., gummy/grippy on wet surfaces but wear quickly] or really hard [wear well but no traction at all on wet floors, stairs, rocks, etc.]).
The ''pull-on'' tab is easy to grasp and the heel cup is snug and comfortable without the annoying tendency (as some other water shoes have) of biting into the achilles tendon.
Two minor issues keep me from rating this 5 stars: 1) the cord lock for the elastic cinch strap is awkward to use w/one hand (though the shoe fit me so well I didn''t need to use it much), and 2) the insole has a tendency to slip/move around a bit.You could (I did) use a little dab of Shoe Goo or other waterproof adhesive under the heel and under the forefoot to secure the insole, but then you lose the ability to remove it to wash out sand, pebbles, etc.
Overall, I''d definitely buy them again.
