I was a little concerned about these shoes because, while I don''t mind making bold statements in fashion, these looked a little cartoon-ish for me.I took a risk and I''m glad I did!I usually wear about a 9 1/2 shoe but these 9''s are a perfect fit.Not only that, but they''re far more striking in person!They''re exaggerated but that''s part of their charm.However, I do suggest you wear these with either all black, or all yellow (bright, pure yellow the color in the photo is accurate).With my skin tone and coloring, I could never wear all yellow and those kinds of dresses and outfits are hard to come by anyway, so I will be wearing them with all-black (slacks & top) with a pure yellow watch (just a cheap $12.99 magnetic "slap on" watch/bracelet) and a pure yellow necklace (shiny a must to properly accessorize this) with a bit of silver on it.I won''t wear earrings because my hair would cover them anyway.So BUY these!For the price, they can''t be beat!Sure, they''re purely synthetic man-made (no leather).But they look very expensive, very trendy, and just plain fun! They arrived promptly after ordering.Oh, and one more thing while the 5.5" heel looks outrageous, the toe platform is so high it makes for easy, comfortable walking plus the base of the heel itself is so thick, there''s not "teetering."GREAT SHOE!No regrets.
