I LOVE my Clarks Samba sandals!I bought them because of the Clarks reputation and the reviews here on amazon.com, and I am so glad I did. They are now my favorite pair of shoes.
They are even better looking than they appear in the picture.The flower is just the right size and has extra detailing in the middle of the flower cluster.
In addition to their attractive looks, I am impressed with the quality. It has topstitching on the top strap, on the bed of the shoe, and on the sides of the soles. This stitching not only reinforces and strengthens, it adds beautiful detailing to the shoes.
The extra padding and built-in contouring in the foot bed makes them unusually comfortable. I have sensitive feet but find I can stand and walk around all day in these with no problem.
I don''t usually mention packing in my reviews, but the Clarks Company has really set the bar high with how they package these sandals. In addition to extra thick tissue paper and cardboard inserts in the shoes, the flowers came wrapped in "caps" that kept them from being flattened during shipping. How clever is that! I kept the caps so I can use them when I take the shoes traveling. I wish other companies would go the extra mile like Clarks. It probably sounds like a small thing, but adds to my satisfaction with the company and the shoes.
I ordered the "platinum" color, but found it was a "burnt gold" color when it arrived. I really wanted silver colored shoes, but these were so pretty, I kept them. So be aware that their "platinum" is not the silver you are probably thinking of. I am not a "gold" person, but this color gold is subtle, gorgeous, and go with everything.
As far as size, I recommend getting 1/2 size larger if your forefoot is wide. If your have a "normal" size foot, then order your normal size.
Bottom line is: I love my Clarks Samba sandals and I highly recommend them. I get compliments on their eye-catching looks all the time. They are very comfortable, wear well (looks like they will last several seasons), and are very stylish.

This is my second pair, I took the first pair back because after wearing them for about 45 minutes they started making an airy type sound everytime I took a step.It was from the back part of the heel on the right shoe.I''m going to return this pair and get something different I guess.Very cute and comfortable but the sound is really bad.Has anyone else had this problem?

This shoe made a great fisrt impression out of the box. It is very obviously a well-made quality shoe, from the construction down to the little styling details which are beautiful. The packaging was also very impressive, as the shoes arrived with little "shower caps" protecting the leather flowers! I was SO disappointed to find that the fit was just a bit too "sloppy" for me, kind of like a bedroom slipper. But I have narrow feet and horrible plantar fasciitis in both feet so these just didnt offer the fit & arch support that I need. The footbeds are extremely soft, like walking around on couch cushions, but as anyone with foot problems knows, cushy shoes only lead to more problems. I am sure that anyone without foot problems, or maybe just a wider foot, would find these to be wonderful. I have been wearing Orthoheels, so now anything else I put on doesnt measure up to the extremely exaggerated arch I have become accustomed to. So I returned them, but it hurt to do it since they are so nice!!!
