I bought this shoes for my daughter.Not only does she wear a size 5.5 (that''s difficult to find in the local shoe stores), but her instep is very narrow.According to her, the adjustable straps over her instep and around her heel and the chunky heel style create a comfortable fit throughout the day even with the height of the heel. She is also pleased with how stylish the shoes looks as it peeks out past her pants hemline.She plans to order another in black.

Love these shoes!I purchased these shoes from Amazon last summer (2012) in white in size 8. I consistently wear size 8 in other brands like Nine West and Bandolino and this shoes runs true to size.I wear these sandals with shorts, slacks, and capris and receive many compliments.They are pretty comfortable unless you are doing a lot of walking (like window shopping or if you do a lot of walking in your job).I will purchase a second pair in tan or black since I like them so well.
