Bostonian Men''s Ricardo Cap-Toe Oxford

This shoe is a nice looking shoe but it''s extremely narrow. I order the shoes in 15 wide, however I feel that the width was far too narrow for a wide shoe.

I''ve been searching for a nice entry level leather soled dress shoe.This is what I''ve settled on and I''m quite happy so far.The color is a nice reddish brown and the contrast is very nice.I went a size down because they do run a little long, now the fit is snug but comfortable.I would give it 5 stars but I haven''t worn them much yet and there are a few slightly noticeable painting errors down near the sole(but no one get''s their face that close anyway).

Not as well built as Johnston & Murphy or Cole Hann, but a fair price for a good product... This shoe is quite narrow, so if your regular fit is slightly wider than medium, I would say just go for the 2e or even 3e...

To tell you the truth, i really wanted to like these shoes but there are significant negatives that I can''t overlook. First, the shoes are not true to size. They are at least a half to full size larger. Secondly, they are very difficult to break in. I wear dress shoes for 14-16 hrs a day and I need them to be comfortable. I don''t have time to break shoes in. Lastly but not so important are the soles. They are all leather so they are hard on your feet. I would prefer something with grip and traction.

I will say though, that they are very classy looking and really adds style to your outfit and the price is good too. If you can get passed the negatives I mentioned then these shoes are for you.
