P.W. Minor Women''s Embrace Lace-Up Sneaker

P.W. Minor Women''s Embrace Lace-Up Sneaker,Bone,13 2W USThese are the most comfortable yet somewhat stylish shoes that I have ever owned. I bought these in a size 9.5 in a wide width and I wear them with size 10 Lynco Aetrex 400 orthotics (I removed the supportive insole insert that came with these shoes) and they fit perfectly and are supremely comfortable, supportive and not "glommy". They look more "urban" than orthotic and they look fine with skinny jeans sort of "urban chic" really!!! Basically they say "I need to be on my feet, so I need to be comfortable, but I don''t want to wear blocks on my feet". I highly recommend them. I paid $60 for them on sale at my local high end shoe store. The photo does not do them justice the laces are fairly thin.I am referring to the black leather style. So comfy!

I just want to add that I tried these with the included removable footbed/inner sole and they were not as comfortable or supportive as when I removed the inner sole and used the Lynco Aetrex orthotic sole.I have removed a star, but for those of you who are looking for a shoe to go with your Lynco Aetrex orthotics, this show would be a great choice.

This combination could be a near perfect solution for people with foot and ankle pain.

I have another pair of P.W. Minor shoes in a style VERy similar to these. I can only guess that they must have been made from a different lastthough that seems surprising given their many similarites. The other pair is perfect for my feet (I had a combination of neuropathy, hardto fitfeet, and some stability issues along withthick full length orthotics) This pair is way too snug. The only other differebce I see is the leather on my comfy ones may be a little more supple. But believe me, with my feet there is no breaking in of shoesthey would "break" my feet before my feet forced the shoe to adapt. So they will have to go back. All this many not be very useful to you! So let me add what you may well be able to tell from the picthese shoes are not quite as ugly looking as some other orthopedic shoes, though they are close. Th motto says something like you''d want wear them even if you didn''t have to, and that is pretty much untrue. On the other hand they are not sneakerswhich for long stretches is all that I can find to accomodate my orthotics. so, a slight score there. And, if you HAVE to wear them, like I do, they are reasonably ok looking. But I have to have pretty loose standards considering how hard it is to find shoes that work for me.

These are comfortable on my feetfrom the moment I put them on in the morning -to the time I take them off at the end of the day. My custom orthodics fits perfectly in them. They do not look like sneakers to me just a comfortable shoe that I can tell people they are made by P. W, Minor shoe company. I love these shoes!!
