Sanuk Men''s BLVD Sandal

I got these for a trip to Mexico last month, and so far I am impressed. I typically buy cheap flip-flops that tend to take a couple weeks of heavy use before getting seriously worn in or falling apart all together. I used these for several long days on the beach (and even did about 8 miles of hiking though the jungle with them) and they are still holding up well, with almost no visible wear to the sole. The sole of the sandle is very comfortable and DOES feel like your walking on a yoga mat, and they did not seem at all slippery when wet as some have stated. The underside of the upper fabric is soft and is comfortable on the top of the foot. My only complaint is that the ribbing that goes between the toes doesn''t have the same jersey material, and left a slight abrasion on the first day of heavy use. After that I began to get used to it, and wasn''t seriously bothered by the texture for the rest of my trip.

Overall I would give these 4.5/5 if I could, but I had to deduct a point for the uncomfortable fabric that goes between your toes. Covering that in the same jersey material used for the uppers would make these the perfect flip flop.
