I generally dress really casually and was hunting around for a shoe that was comfortable, didn''t make me look like I just left the gym yet would work for an active lifestyle. These shoes ticked all of the boxes. They look great with darker colored jeans, pants and even with shorts if you have low cut socks.

I''m very pleased with these shoes. They are light in weight, allow a wide range of motion from the ankle, and are comfortable to wear. They aren''t excessively padded but just the right amount to support the sides of the foot and the back of the ankle/Achilles''s heel. The only thing I wasn''t too pleased about was the insufficient(in my opinion) at the sole. However, this was easily fixed by buying gel soles at Wal-Mart. Now the shoes are just perfect and I wear them very often. The shipping is also reasonable. I got my shoes in about 3-4 business days. All in all, I''m very happy with my purchase.

Crocs Unisex Modi Flip Flop

My first pair was the best flip flop I ever had.Then I bought a new pair and it caused red marks from rubbing the top of my foot.

I could not figure out why the first pair was so good and the 2nd pair so bad.Turns out they shortened the band between the toe by 1/4 inch.Now the top rubs my foot constantly, removing my skin and irritating it.

I called Crocs and they measured another 12 or so pairs and they were all 1/4 inch shorter in the band so it was not a defective pair that I had received but a change in the way they make them.

So even though there are a ton of 5 star reviews I assume this is for the pair I had originally as I also rated it 5 stars on Crocs Website. Beware on this new cut because it might rub the top of your foot constantly.

I have noticed other Crocs products have had the same issue including their flagship sandal.Reviewers have complained that they loved their original pair and then they bought a 2nd pair that was produced in a different country from the 1st pair and they were not comfortable at all because they were sized differently.It seems Crocs has a quality control problem with their manufacturing.

It''s soft & cushy for the bottom of your feet, with a good arch support, medium width and the straps don''t hug as close as in the BAJA (which wasn''t around very long, but had a softer footbed & better arch than the Athens). I''ve owned a pair of Modi Flip Flops for over a month now, and they are hands-down the best sandals I''ve ever had. They are very, very comfortable... ....although it took me about half a day to get used to the thong between my toes: no pain, but it just felt "funny" at first; it''s been 40 years since I wore this style. The sizing was spot-on (men''s size 13). There is very little slipping between your feet and the sandal when they are wet. I found Crocs after being diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis , Fibromyalgia & Neuralgia. I''m keeping these shoes because I love the pattern (almost like wood grain) and the design (like a clog/heel hybrid) but they are absolutely not as comfortable as I''d hoped. They fit 1/2 size long, but are really narrow. And so close! The heel is nice and chunky, the bottom tread is a nice touch (it''s subtle in person) that makes it good for day wear, and, had they made the toe box wider, I think they would have been really comfortable. But these aren''t leather (hence the great pattern) and won''t stretch, and I can immediately feel my little toes and the tops of my feet rubbing against the sides.

Bought these pumps on a whim because I loved the color and the pattern and they were a great deal. They are quite tight at first, but after wearing them a few times, they have become quite comfortable and I can wear them all day at work. I am a size 5 and these fit perfectly. The treads on the bottom are a super addition to prevent slipping.

Overally, I am very pleased with those sandals. They''re very cute and seem sturdy as well. It''s nice that there are more color varieties from usual white or pink for girls. However, there is one drawback (hence 4 stars). I have noticed that although manufacturer claims that the soles are very flexible, they are not. My daughter is 13 months old and she wears size 3 shoes and I have noticed that she walks a little "stiffly" in those sandals, which results from the stiff soles. I tried to bend them and they''re not nearly as flexible as they should for such a young child. I compared them to her pair of covered toes shoes and the difference is night and day. I already ordered different sandals (the same brand) that have thinner sole and I hope it''ll bend easier. In general, I like this company very much, their produce seems to be of a great quality and I am sure the thick and stiff soles won''t matter that much when my girl gets older.

These are great for throwing on with jeans to run around in and they also work for the office the patent dresses it up nicely. Only thing I would say is that the first couple times I wore them, the toe area was uncomfortable and pinched my toes A LOT. However, after a couple wearings, they''ve really softened up. Chaco Men''s Updraft 2 Sandal

I have owned Chacos in the past and have never fallen in love. The rough sole and heaviness of the sandal made them a chore to wear, so when I saw this new lighter model I was very eager to give them a try. Between May and July of this year I wore them less than 15 times, mostly around the house and to do yard work. The left inner heel riser has already come apart from the sole rendering the shoe unwearable. I have submitted the issue to Chaco''s "ReChaco" facility in hopes that they grant a warranty repair at no cost.

My philosophy is the best warranty is one you don''t have to use. Unfortunately that is not the case here. I give the build quality a generous 3 stars here in hopes that I received a lemon pair.

As for the shoe itself, I was very pleased with the comfort and adjustability while I was able to wear them. They are light without feeling cheap. I can''t imagine a better shoe to wear for yard work.

The Updraft 2 is amazing! I was reluctant to purchase another pair of Chacos because of the break-in time. But with these there is virtually none. They are lighter and have a lower profile. Just take ''em out of the box, adjust the straps, and go on your way. You will be amazed at how light they feel compared to the unaweeps. The footbed is more comfortable and the sole is just as durable.

Sanuk Men''s BLVD Sandal

I got these for a trip to Mexico last month, and so far I am impressed. I typically buy cheap flip-flops that tend to take a couple weeks of heavy use before getting seriously worn in or falling apart all together. I used these for several long days on the beach (and even did about 8 miles of hiking though the jungle with them) and they are still holding up well, with almost no visible wear to the sole. The sole of the sandle is very comfortable and DOES feel like your walking on a yoga mat, and they did not seem at all slippery when wet as some have stated. The underside of the upper fabric is soft and is comfortable on the top of the foot. My only complaint is that the ribbing that goes between the toes doesn''t have the same jersey material, and left a slight abrasion on the first day of heavy use. After that I began to get used to it, and wasn''t seriously bothered by the texture for the rest of my trip.

Overall I would give these 4.5/5 if I could, but I had to deduct a point for the uncomfortable fabric that goes between your toes. Covering that in the same jersey material used for the uppers would make these the perfect flip flop.

These are definitely worth the cost. My first pair lasted five years. They are warm and sturdy. I''d tried buying a cheaper pair that were a different brand (Acorn), but they weren''t sturdy and I couldn''t walk in them because it was like wearing a pair of slippery socks with a hard sole, so it was a waste of time and money. These have a good sole and are made of a heavy wool that holds your foot in so you''re not slipping all around when you walk in them or when you go up and down stairs. I highly recommend these.

My wife and I are on our second set of Haflingers, and I just cross my fingers that they never go out of business. Our entire house is covered with hardwood floors. Most wool slippers have a rubber or plastic sole which scrapes and scuffs the floors. My theory is that if you can hear a slipper contacting the hardwood, then there can be some level of abrasion. The soft sole wool Haflinger, however, glides like felt and arguably cleans your floors as you shuffle. The design and quality of detail is top quality without spots of misfit sharp edges, and the seams/stitches are reinforced.The slipper simply feels like a high quality soft shoe. I finally got rid of my old pair after 6 years, which is long past the due date of any shoe that I''ve ever owned.
