Sanuk Women''s Yoga Safari Thong Sandal

I live in my Sanuk yoga mat sandals in the summer! I have even worn them to walk all day in theme parks! super comfy! I now have my entire family hooked! I purchased these to have a little fun kick of color...I usually wear plain black or brown so it is easy to match everything.

A few days after receiving my first pair of Sanuk Yoga Sandals I not only purchased a second pair for myself, but a pair for my daughter too.No break-in period and they come in a variety of colors.

I purchased these Sanuk sandals and when they came, I was a bit disappointed.I bought a pair of these Safari Sanuks at an actual Safari store and they are much different.When I took these out of the box, I noticed immediately the weight difference between my old pair and this new pair, then I noticed the difference in materials..so I held them up..sure enough, the shoes I had just received had a much thinner sole (easily bends in half) compared to the ones I bought at the store..on my original Sanuks the sole is in three parts, much thicker in the heel area versus the front.These ones came and are only two parts, with a much thinner yoga mat sole.The materials are also completely different as well as the toe strap.The underside of my originals has a nice felt material, these have an odd neoprene material that wraps around.Tag placement is also different. My original Sanuks have one tag, located on the middle of one of the shoes (both shoes do not have tags), these have tags placed on each shoes, sewn into it towards the back of the strap.All in all, they just didn''t look right to me.Luckily, they were very good to let me return them.I checked the website for Sanuk as well as zappos.com, etc to see if maybe they had just changed the style, but they all show my original thick soled, correct tag placement shoe.. So I''m not sure what is going on with this particular style of Sanuk, but it is NOT the same as the same shoe sold in the Sanuk website, as clearly indicated by the pictures on all the sites as well.They are sending me a return label to return the shoes but I just wanted to let anyone else who might be ordering to please compare the photos from the websites so you can see what I mean.I felt an immediately difference in quality the minute I took these particular ones out of the box.Bummed, I will have to go to the actual store now to order, as I was in LOVE with my Sanuks!

I love Saunks and these flips flops are great! I wear a 7 in their regular shoes, but had to get an 8 in the flip flops.
