Skechers Men''s Gander Barkin Hiking Shoe

This shoe looked comfortable and stylish when I purchased it. It also felt comfortable when I first tried it on. However, who makes a lace-up shoe with absolutely no way to adjust (tighten or loosen) the elastic laces? Duh! I have worn shoes with similar lace designs with a cinch buckle or clasp to adjust the fit. Without this mechanism, this shoe is essentially a slide or a loafer. Does that comport in any way with the athletic design, the rugged sole or the sporty upper? How did this shoe design make it out of development?

Very comfortable shoes, slip on is nice. Good support, cushion and traction. No issue with heel chafing like I have had on other Skechers.

These are just about the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I am a warehouse manager so, I''m on my feet quite a bit. These shoes are the next best thing to wearing slippers to work. They also seem to be very well made. I expect they will last a good long time.
