Ok, first and foremost, I am not the type of guy to wear flip flops, or sandals.i have just never been comfortable with them on my feet.the little thong thing between my toes, the feeling that the darn thing is going to fall of, just really bothers me.on the other hand, i love to go to mexico and hang out on the beach.so i end up with either burnt feet, or sand in my sneakers.so i took a chance on these, and i am so glad i did!they are super comfortable, and they feel like sneakers, but are light and airy enough that my feet are cool; but protected!on top of everything else they don''t slide around, they feel nice and secure!great product!

Very comfortable. Only downside is the rubber toe can rub you wrong on top of your foot if you get them wet or wear them for long periods of time.

I bought these prior to going hiking for a couple of weeks in the Tetons and in Yellowstone. I wore them practically every day and found them to be incredibly comfortable. While I have narrow feet and these only come inmedium width (my reason for 4, not 5 stars), they are adjustable enough to fit comfortably. It was great to be able to hike along a path and ford streams without changing or removing my shoes, and getting through airport security was a snap. I would not hesitate to recommend these sandals to others, and they look great too.
