Teva Women''s Zirra Sandal

I purchased these shoes to wear during our Disney vacations. I have been wearing them around and LOVE them. The lines on them at first bothered me but after having them on for about 15 minutes....I could no longer feel the lines. Now that I''ve been wearing them a lot, I don''t feel the lines at all. That really is the only "breaking in" that I have had to do with the shoes. I walk in them a lot and have not gotten a single blister or had any issues with them.

When shopping for a sandal, I needed one that adjusts (for my swelling feet), has good arch support, is comfortable for long term wear and extended walking, allows the top of my feet to breath, is waterproof, and looks nice. This one really fit the bill. With all of that.....I am still very surprised at how comfortable they are.

My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 normally so ordered the 8 1/2. I really should have gotten an 8 or even a 7 1/2 as it really is too long. They still work and I still wear them all of the time but I do wish that I had known that they do run on the large side.

So.....don''t hesitate to purchase the shoe but make sure to order 1/2 to a full size small then what you would normally wear.

These sandals are lightweight and super comfortable-just what I was looking for! I''ve tried Chacos many times, but have found that the footbed was always way too heavy and the arch too high for my foot. These Tevas are the perfect alternative. The straps are very easy to adjust as well. I typically wear between an 8.5 and a 9 and based on other reviews, I sized down and bought an 8, which fit perfectly.

I''ve read that other users have had an issue with the top strap & buckle coming loose. A quick note on that: it happened to me initially, but then I realized why it was happening. The buckle itself has a little locking mechanism on it that engages when you tighten the strap and then pull it in a downward direction. If you just pull the strap to the right or left to tighten it w/out pulling it down after, the lock (bar in the center of the buckle) will not engage. I''ve started using this technique and they stay tight every time I adjust the straps!

I will be traveling to Paris in August and was on the hunt for comfortable, supportive sandals as we will be doing a lot of walking. I saw these sandals at DSW and tried them on. WOW -felt like walking on clouds. I decided to order on Amazon instead (as the pricing was almost $30 cheaper) and just received the sandals. I walked around all day with them and NO problems whatsoever. Went for a 2mile walk with my dogs and my feet felt fine! I have back issues and sciatic nerve issues with my left leg and I had no pain, nor did my feet hurt.I have wide, flat-arched feet as well.These sandals are a god-send. So comfortable and so supportive. My feet tend to swell and these sandals really allowed any of that without restriction. They also look really cute with pants.

I''ve read other reviews on Zappos of this shoe that the negative is that the strap comes undone (it''s just a buckle that you tighten or loosen). I never had an issue with that at all. The strap never moved nor came loose for me. Maybe because my feet are ''plump'' LOL

I am always hoping Teva will make more "fashionable" comfy shoes. These appear to fit the bill. BUT the buckle loosens by itself constantly! I have to keep tightening it or risk having my shoes fall off (both of them). also, I have a blister from where the top strap twists. Avoid!
