These are very well made boots at a great price.High quality leather, great heel height and very comfortable.They are true to size and width. The only problem I had is I went by the other reviewer who said the circumference was just right for a slimmer calf.I have 13 1/2" calves and these were 2" too big.Fortunately, I have a wonderful shoemaker who takes my boots in.I had to spend another $20 to have them altered but felt they were a really nice boots and would be worth it.Skinny calf girls stay away unless you like a looser boot or have them altered.They are 15 1/2" circumference, more for a heavier calf.They have 2" elastic piece which would give someone looking for a wider calf additional inches.
This is my second pair of these cute, stylish boots and I love, love, them.I was looking for some scrunch leather boots and was glad to find these.I always receive several compliments every time I wear them. Not only that they were comfortable from the moment I put them on my feet. The leather is really soft and sort of conforms to your foot. The one thing I truly appreciate about these boots is that finally a shoe manufacturer realizes that just because a woman has wide feet she does not necessarily have wide calves, which is my case. If I had any negative comments about this boot it would be the fact that the sole is kind of thin and I had to have it re-soled, but other than that it is a winner!!
