Shoes are good enough to get started. Its good for practice. The shoes only lasted me 3-4 months before I had to buy new ones. Course it depends on how much you dance in them.It lasts long enough for a season. This is a practice shoe. Not fancy for performing. I like dancing in new shoes, not "worn in" shoes, so I like to buy a few each time. Decent shoes at a good price!

no arch support at all. I never have a problem walking in flip flops all day, but these shoes destroyed me after two hours of dancing. While the shoe is very light, the heel is extremely unbalanced, I rolled my ankle twice even though I could easily execute harder moves in more extreme heels. heel tears up your back ankle and toes (Expected). The saving grace is that wearing socks with the sandal easily solve the pain from friction and lack of support.

Positives of these shoes are that they are quite comfortable. I love the low heel. I have arthritis in my feet and this heel height is great. They are reasonably priced. They are easy to dance in. Negatives are that they are not super fancy. I agree with a previous review that they are good for practice or casual dance events or parties. The quality of construction is not as good as say a Capezio shoe.The straps were too long, as usual with dance shoes. I bought my own leather strap hole puncher, which works great and saves me money spent at a repair shop to have holes punched in the straps. Overall, this shoe is a good buy, especially if you need a low heel shoe.
