Just got these in the mail within two days! Great service! The color is a little more grey than the picture, but since I was pretty much looking for the best deal, the color was minor. I have a 37 in birkenstock sandals (on the small side for me, but still pretty much perfect), so I got a 39 in the boston clogs to leave plenty of room for socks. They are a tad big (a little extra heel sticking out), but I think they should work. Looking forward to getting them broken in and wearing them lots!

I love the Boston''s they''ve been my favorite go-to Birkenstock style for years. The adjustable arch strap makes for a perfect fit even for people with high arches and/or high insteps. The strap keeps them from stretching out the leather when you wear socks no matter how thick the socks they are. I''ve stretched out other Birks across the arch area wearing them with socks during the winter and can never get them to fit right for summer or sockless use again. I''ve never had that problem with these.

I recently bought some of the oiled leather Bostons. Yes, they look older faster and they have a lot of character because of the patina but beware, like other kinds of oiled leather, anything oily will stain them a dark stain that doesn''t come out using natural products.

I like the regular polished brown leather Bostons better than these oiled leather since after 3 years I can still polish them and they look like new again. No need to polish the oiled leather just use a slightly damp cloth to clean them.

Also, did you know that many shoe repair stores carry authentic Birk rubber sole (bottom layer) of your Birks? It adds years of life to your favorite Birks.
