I was able to try these on at the store and thus I did not have the sizing issues so many Blondo reviewers have mentioned.I work in a professional office and I walk to work.I am on the hunt for comfortable, durable and good looking boots that can handle the snowy, slushy, wet and cold days of winter.These boots look professional, can take the snow, salt and slush, and keep me comfortable.I simply wipe away any salt or slush when I get to the office.The detailing on the side of the shaft adds a nice touch. I wear a 10 M and usually have to stick with Clarks, Born, Circa Joan &David, or La Canadienne (if deeply discounted!) boots to get a comfortable fit, but these are fine...again, I was fortunate to try them on in the store.The boots look so good with skirts and with jeans that I bought both the brown and black pairs.

I saw these boots on a friend and just had to have them. In my apparent excitement, I forgot to consider my skinny calves. They are much too big from the ankles to the top of the boot. However, I do love the color and the pebbly leather between the foot and the top of the boot. I am going to try to find a cobbler who can cut the back seam and make them fit me.I search endlessly for good looking boots and these are simple, comfortable and well made. If you have 14-16 inch calves, they will fit you perfectly.
