I bought these for a costume that I made my husband.He has very large feet and I was having a hard time finding anything in his size with good quality.These were definitly a great deal.They were big enough and a pretty good price.The quality is fantastic as well.The only thing that did not work out on them is that my husband has large feet, but he''s by no means a big man, so the sizing around the top of the leg was a little large, but easily fixed.I would definitly recommend this product.

As a member of a historical reenactment society I would and have highly recommended these shoes. I have worn them to several events and even to a week long camping trip called Gulf Wars. They held up great, they look fantastic. I still have them and will continue to wear them.

I picked up these for Halloween 2011. They worked great and felt good for the 5-6 hours I wore them. The construction is pretty solid. Nothing came apart or ripped and they look extremely authentic. I got alot of good compliments. :D I highly recommend them.

These are absoluetly amazing! I bought them as a costume peice for this show that I am doing, and my costume designer loved me for them. They are light and flexible, curve to the shape of the leg, and are all around are all around just plain awesome looking! I have gotten so many complimnents on them. Keep in mind these are still costume shoes and I dont think they would be comfortable to walk in all day. But for the hour or two at a time that Im in them, I have no problems.

The only thing I would say is watch the sizing a bit. I am a size 12 so I bought the Large (reccomended for my shoe size). When I tried them on, they were a little loose fitting and not as snug as I would''ve wanted in roman sandals. However they still fit relatively well and I am able to walk around in them, so it''s a minor detail compared to everything else about these shoes.

A good fit in an eye-catching and unusual design.

I bought these sandal-like boots to complete an Egyptian Halloween costume, but they would serve equally well for other outfits, or at alternative festivals (BurningMan, I''m looking at you).They''re a little expensive but feel solidly constructed.Shoes that can make a costume, rather than costume footwear that will fall apart.

Ideally the front "straps" would be adjustable, but I was fortunate to have a snug-but-comfortable fit around my calves (I''m an average build 5''11" male).
