These boots are really nice in person. However,I have to warn you...if you want the brown/onyx you have to order the brown/gold. They have the description mixed up. I found that out the hard way. But interestingly enough when I finally got the right color, the brown/onyx looked like a greenish brown. Kind of like an army green. Mind you, it still looks nice, but if the details say "brown" you would think they''d be well, brown. Anyway, the boots are true to size. I wear an 8 1/2 and they fit very well. They even have a bit of wiggle room if you want to wear thicker socks. I think the only real negative thing I have to say about the boots is that since there is no zipper they''re a little difficult to put on. But it''s a small price to pay. They''re very comfortable...well, from what I''ve gathered so far. I haven''t really walked a long distance in them. But I do recommend a comfort insole just in case. The leather is really soft and looks nice. Another thing I would recommend, since they are in fact real leather, I''d invest in some protective spray so you down ruin them in the rain or snow. But all in all, they''re nice boots for the price considering Steve Madden sells similar boots for WAY more and they are very poorly made. I''ll update my review once I''ve worn them for a while.

I get so many compliments on these boots! I love them. They''re extremely comfortable too! I think they run a little big. I. Usually a 7, but I think in these I should have gone with a 6.5, but given the cold weather, its nice to wear a thicker pair of socks :)
