ECCO Women''s Kawaii Kilea Cross Sandal

ECCO Women''s Kawaii Kilea Cross Sandal,Espresso/Dark Clay/Fanta,40 EU/9-9.5 M USLove this sandal. Very comfortable sole.Unfortunately, I will be returning it. My foot is too narrow and the grey/pink straps are not movable only the white straps. My foot slides all around. If I tighten the white straps as tight as possible they hurt.

I have only worn around house but they seem very comfortable.Straps may need to be shortened but that is not a problem to have done.I bought to wear golfing and have not had a chance to wear yet.

The middle strap (velcro) could not be tightened enough to fit my foot. It was still loose by an inch. This was very disappointing because I really liked these sandals.

There is no other sandal as comfortable as those made by Ecco. There is a nice thick formed sole so you don''t feel like you''re walking on the ground with very little padding. And an instep that provides comfort.

Two years ago I purchased my first pair of Ecco sandals to wear during a European walking tour. I liked the sandals so much, I purchased a second pair from Ecco''s Performance line: the Faro in black. I LOVED the stylish Faro. When I saw the Kilea, also from the Performance line, I hope for a similar shoe fit to the Faro or Yucatan. Much to my frustration, the Kilea is both slightly shorter and more narrow than the above two sandals. I know this to be true because I measured the foot bed of all three sandals. Yes, the sandal is lightweight. Yes, the sandal is comfy-cushy. No, there is no annoying rubbing of straps or breaking-in period. However, these elements are irrelevant when one''s foot is hanging off the side of the shoe. I would also add that the two toe strips are located too near the end of the shoe, leaving a rather large gap between the straps on the toes and the straps at the top of the foot. It looks off and I don''t know how securely the foot sits in the shoe as a result.
