I am a loyal Birkenstock wearer and was looking for a pair that could tolerate water a little better than the leather pairs I have. These are perfect. The footbed is still birkenstock quality and comfort, but it''s made of plastic-y material so they''re waterproof. Very comfortable and the strawberries are just so cute. The straps are still made of their regular soft material (perhaps they are leather after all? but they seem to be coated with some kind of wax) so they don''t ever chafe, even when worn new. I am very pleased with these shoes!

If you need to wear shoes with arch support and be in or near the water--these are the shoes for you.They are comfortable, adjustable and will last forever if you don''t wear them all the time like I do.They are the best!

I love these sandals and wear them a lot in the summer.I have a very large garden and am walking around in muddy ground and if these get muddy you just hose them off and away you go.The best part is they are rubberized and take a very long time to wear out.I have had the original pair for over 5 years and knew that I would have to give them up when they wore out as they cannot be repair so I bought another pair.

These are fun shoes for walking your dog in the rain, gardening in wet soil or grass, or simply for casual wear.I love Birkenstocks and bought these a little too small because I wanted them at a great price, and they were not available in my size.They are still comfortable, since they have open toes.The colors make them very playful looking.
