My first pair of 574''s....My kids have had pairs that have lasted for years and they love them.I actually acquired these from my oldest son because we ordered the wrong size.As I saw in another review of these, they seem to run 1/2 size small.ENJOY, you will get your $$ worth

I''ve been wearing 574''s for a number of years.They have always been the decent casual throwaway shoe.Not that they won''t last at least a little while, but I wouldn''t expect more than 6 months before they start to deteriorate.Especially if they are your everyday walking shoes.They do look good in most casual settings and they offer tons of colors.Plus they''re cheap!

Really pleased with this pair of shoes.

I was looking some some all black shoes that would go well with shorts as well as jeans (tough to find an all-black sneaker that looks good with jeans for those casual nights out). This pair does it, though.

In addition, Amazon offered this pair for almost $20 cheaper than retail value found on the New Balance website and $10 cheaper than any Ebay store selling them.

Great value, great buy.

these are good inexpensive shoes.they are comfortable after breakin.for me a 12.5 would have been better than a 12.they are almost snug.they are as comfortable as the 816 they replaced.they do not have a nonslip bottom.
