New Balance Women''s W870v2 Light Stability Running Shoe

I had the original version of this shoe and wore it out. I have this pair of shoes, it was comfortable from the day I got it. I will be ordering another pair very soon as I already have 200 miless on them. I would say these are medium support. Very light very breathable. The blue and tangerine color is adorable, very bright, but I get tons of comments on them. I realize shoes are a very personal preference, but these are a winner for me.

Love these shoes. Perfect for my stride. After one week of using, my knees stopped hurting. Still having some Achilles tendon problem, but that''s not the shoes.

The fit and comfort of the shoejust about perfect. I wear a 10.5 wide and New Balance is one of the rare shoes that can accommodate me. They are both sturdy and light, a combination that baffles me, but I appreciate it nonetheless. The tread is sturdy enough to take some light hikes but not clunky, so they work in an aerobics class or on the treadmill, as well. If you are looking for an all-around comfortable shoe that fits all sorts of activities, I don''t think you can do much better than the 870.

BUT.... The shoe I got is BRIGHT.I thought it would be bright in the fuchsia, breast-cancer awareness pink that is so popular. That color is in the shoe, but it''s in the trim. The main pink, part of the shoe is more of an orangey pink. Just enough difference to make the shoes go from "look, I have sassy shoes!" To "LOOK, MY SHOES ARE REALLY BRIGHT!!!" I don''t know if I care too much, but it is taking some getting used to. It''s a nice change from my usual boring colors, but I''m glad I also got some more subdued shoes for those days when I don''t feel like "look at me!"

I loved the fit and feel of this shoe.Got lots of compliments on the cool color.It runs a little short.I sent them back after a week and a half because even with two packages of superglue the sole on the heal continued to fall apart!
