They give you good traction and are very comfortable. They also dried quickly. They would be good for Aqua aerobics too. I think that they ran true to size.

I saw the sidewalk surfers on a coworker and ordered them. after reading the reviews I ordered a size down. I usually wear a 8.5-9 and I have wide feet like barney rubble. Propet Men''s M3850 Washable Moc Walking Shoe

I really like these shoes a lot.

a few things I should mention.

1. The soles are stiff initially, so they become much more comfortable after a 2 week break in of the sole.

2. The width I bought was a 5E and I suspect that they are closer to a 2-3E

3. I''ve tried other Propet(non-laced) style and these are more comfortable. All models of Propet don''t fit the same

4. Initially when you put on Propet Shoes they are a little tighter, with break in they stretch to mold to your foot. Sogive them a chance before you decide they are too narrow.

I really like these shoes.First they are really comfortable.The standard liners are nicely supportive but they come out easily and leave plenty of room for orthotics.One of my favorite things, though, is the lateral support.With most slip-ons the sides are somewhat soft to make it easy to get them on and off but many are so loose they feel more like slippers.These are somewhat different.The opening is flexible, yet rather rigid and the sides are quite sturdy -slipping my foot into the shoe takes a slightly stronger push than the average slip-on, but it is still quite easy and once they are on my feet, they feel nice and snug and when I stand my feet feel like they are being held in position.I like that feeling.Also, the back feels quite strong -I suspect one could pretty much carelessly force one''s feet into these shoes day-in and day-out without a shoehorn without ever having to worry about breaking down the back of the shoe.Besides I think they look really nice and while it never occurred to me that suede might be washable, they claim that one can wash them.How cool is that?Very nice shoe.

I will be ordering another pair very soon as I already have 200 miless on them. I would say these are medium support. Very light very breathable. The tread is sturdy enough to take some light hikes but not clunky, so they work in an aerobics class or on the treadmill, as well. If you are looking for an all-around comfortable shoe that fits all sorts of activities, I don''t think you can do much better than the 870.

My title pretty much says it all.These boots are extremely comfortable, and fit well right out of the box.They do need need to be broken in though, as the ankle refuses to bend when new (which makes it difficult to walk).After walking about 1 mi, they were fine. Surprisingly enough, the straps actually add a fair amount of ankle support.

Appearance-wise, they look similar to the picture.HOWEVER, they are not shiny.They are a very flat black, instead of looking like a dress boot.This is a plus in my book, as I had planned to dull them up anyway as the flat black looks better.In addition, these boots do NOT have a side zipper, so if you want this feature... get a different boots.A facet not mentioned in the description is that that each sole is screwed into the sole with 25 Philips screws.Once again, this is a plus as this shoe looks like it will last for years.One last thing (purely informational), if you wear a boot-cut jean with these, all the silver studs will be covered; when you sit down, between 1-2 are revealed.

I''ve bought a pair of Demonia shoes before and I know the sizing works the same with Pleaser. That is, the sizing is a little odd and the shoes tend to run larger or smaller, depending on style and quality control.

So I purchased the first pair, a 1/2 size smaller than what I normally wear. It didn''t fit and was too tight. I had to send it back. (Also, there were a few minor defects on the exterior.)

Then I bought a pair a 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear. It fit around the foot but, as I laced it and tried to zip it, I realized that it wouldn''t fit around my calf. My younger sister tried it on (14" calf) and it barely fit around hers. So if you''ve got muscular and/or chunky calves, I don''t suggest purchasing this item. I had to send that pair back, too.

I bought these shoes a few weeks ago, and I''ve been wearing them to work ever since. I work in a public hospital so I find myself on my feet, sometimes for long hours, and I end up with pain in my feet, legs and back. These shoes cradle my feet in all the right places and I can already feel a difference while working and at the end of my days. Mephisto Heidi is the most comfortable sandal I''ve ever owned.And the tan grain Heidi is much more comfortable than the older black ones I have which have thicker stiffer leather.The Heidi is also more comfortable and supportive than the Helen, which I also have.Too bad because the Helen is a more elegant and graceful sandal.The Heidi looks like the Birkenstock Arizona which has been around forever.The reason the Heidi is so comfortable is that the leather wraps up over your feet.There is nothing to dig in to your flesh.The straps are wide and the tan grain leather is soft and conforming.The footbeds are amazing in all the Mephisto "H" sandals.You can punch additional holes in the straps to make them fit narrow feet.I still wear the Helen sandals when I know I won''t be walking a lot, but the Heidi is the "go to" sandal.I''m afraid it is less popular than the Helen because it''s less pretty, but it is quite a bit more comfortable.I hope Mephisto will continue to offer it forever.
