I have relied on these Heel Pads for for many years and have them in all my shoes and boots. I have tried every device for heel pain I could find and this is the only one that works for me.
TIP 1: to keep them in place in my shoes and boots, I place them under the shoe''s regular insole and they don''t move around at all. In the past, I used double sided carpet tape (Home Depot)to keep them from sliding around, but I prefer the under the insole method.
TIP 2: What works best for me since I don''t need the entire length (in fact they are too long for me), I cut each of the two heel pads into two pads, that way I get four heel pads instead of two. Using sharp sissors, I first cut them to length, then trim and shape them to size. I made a pattern from heavy paper and trace the shape with a permanent marker onto the pad. I save the pattern for when it''s time to replace the pads.indoor soccer court shoes always have very thin cushioning.
it is not easy to find a perfect fitting insole.
Adding this heel cushion is a good way to have that extra cushioning at the heel.
By adding this below the insole, i can feel its cushion effect without it slipping around or feeling it.I''ve been using these inserts for 15 years.Without them I couldn''t walk without extreme pain or wear regular shoes. This was exactly what I was looking for and the correct size. Thanks! I would definitely buy again, if needed!
