adidas Men''s Superstar 3G Slide Sandal

I love the way this slide looks and the foam footbed is comfortable but the seams throughout the footbed can be annoying. This is my first adidas slide in about seven years and technology has come a long way. This slide is about half the weight of my originals.

This is the first adidas slipper thoroughly let me down.

Pros: Looks great, nice and light-weight

Cons: You are constantly sliding in the shoe if not walking on flat road. After wearing this shoe for about 2 hours the soles of my feet were aching in pain. I tried wearing these a few times after and but they were too uncomfortable and painful.

After having 4 pair of the Adidas "2G" Slides I purchased the "3G" Slides because the 2G''s seem to be phased out. The 2G Slides are the most comfortable thing I''ve ever put on my feet. (Definitely 5 Stars) I wear them all year round. Now Adidas has made changes and come up with the 3G Slide. Sadly, they''re not nearly as soft and comfortable. For the life of me I can''t understand why they would take a great product and "improve" it into something that isn''t as good. What a shame.

I bought my first pair of these sandals about 3 years ago to replace my Nike Jordan sandals that were worn out. I will never go back to Nike sandals again after wearing the Adidas Superstar Slide. I just recently purchased the new 3G and I am just as happy. They are the best looking, most comfortable sandals around. The memory foam custom fits your foot and springs right back when you remove them from you feet. I will forever purchase these sandals year after year. I just hope they never stop making them!

Today I picked up the 3 G slide and wore it around my house after an 11 hour day of work and a few hours in the mall. I was surprised to find that the 3G slide was definitely a lot less comfortable.The soft comfort foot bed as they called it just completely deflated upon any pressure taking the whole cloud like sensation out of the sandal. Dont get me wrong i have the 2 G Slide sandal and i love it. Two years and my pair are still together just a little beat up from a lot of wear and tear.I''ll be returning the 3G slide tomorrow and buying the 2 G slide again. Sometimes new doesnt exactly mean improved. Older styles are not only better looking but better functioning.
