There seem to be many older reviews suggesting you go up a size it looks like that isn''t relevant at all for this year''s model! I''m a 9.5, decided on a 9 and I''m so glad I did, 10 would have been huge. As it is, the longest strap seems too loose. These are my first pair so I''m not sure if its supposed to be this way, maybe I''ll get used to it. I just wish they held my foot a bit better. Otherwise very happy with them!

I am somewhat addicted to buying heavily discounted boots from Amazon, because the deals are great, the super saver two day shipping is great, and I can get cool brands/styles that I can''t find in the town where I live. Often, though, I end up sending them back because they just aren''t quite right. These are keepers -they are very comfortable and look very cool. I have skinny calves and that''s one of the reasons that boots often get sent back-because they are too big in the calves, but these were fine (in fact, I would think they''d be hard for someone who doesn''t have skinny calves to get on, but since another reviewer had the opposite prob, maybe it just varies from pair to pair). I got the black, and the leather is nice -kind of textured but not too much. The shoe part w/the whole wedge thing going on looks a lot less extreme in person than it does in the picture, and even though they are high the platform makes them ok to walk in. The one issue I had is with the zippers on the side of the boots -they seem kind of flimsy and don''t track too well, and I am worried that I''m going to end up jamming one or ripping it out of the boot trying to zip them up. But ... I still like them a lot, and i am definitely keeping them. Although I am returning the 7 for all mankind black suede fur lined boots I got in the same order .... they hit right under my knee, which just didn''t work. Other than that they were real nice, and a great deal.

First i was unsure about buying boots on line without trying them on. When i saw them i fell in love!! Sound crazy right? I had to have them. Best pair of boots yet. They fit perfectly, they are comfortable and most of all The compliments that i get. I received these boots and was so excited to try them on but unfortunately they were too narrow in the front. I wear a normal size 6 1/2 and these fit smaller than a 6.5 M.

The material seems to be leather but the Made in China sticker makes me think otherwise.Are they unique in style yes but the bottom of the boots fell stiff, tight and heavy while the upper calf portion fits very wide and big. It''s good if you want to push some jeans inside but you can throw a pair of pj''s under the jeans and still fit them in the boots, that''s how extra wide they are.

Overall they look cool, and the quality seems okay but not well constructed.

The strap that goes around the foot seemed to be extra long.There was also a piece of elastic that attaches the top leather piece to the shoe which allows additional stretch.Holy moly makes the shoe very sloppy on the foot.I made my husband try it on also and it was too lose on him too.

I love the way this slide looks and the foam footbed is comfortable but the seams throughout the footbed can be annoying. This is my first adidas slide in about seven years and technology has come a long way. This slide is about half the weight of my originals.

Pros: Looks great, nice and light-weight

Cons: You are constantly sliding in the shoe if not walking on flat road. After wearing this shoe for about 2 hours the soles of my feet were aching in pain. I tried wearing these a few times after and but they were too uncomfortable and painful.

Today I picked up the 3 G slide and wore it around my house after an 11 hour day of work and a few hours in the mall. I was surprised to find that the 3G slide was definitely a lot less comfortable.The soft comfort foot bed as they called it just completely deflated upon any pressure taking the whole cloud like sensation out of the sandal. Dont get me wrong i have the 2 G Slide sandal and i love it. Two years and my pair are still together just a little beat up from a lot of wear and tear.I''ll be returning the 3G slide tomorrow and buying the 2 G slide again. Merrell Women''s Lithe Glove Barefoot Running Shoes

I purchased these as my "winter" barefoot shoes.I currently own two pairs of Merrell Pace Glove''s and the Lithe Glove doesn''t even compare in comfort.They are stiff and don''t flex like the Pace Glove.I was hoping I could wear these thru the winter months.Because of the Pace Glove''s mesh breathability, they are not suited for winter wear.I ended up returning these and purchasing my second pair of Pace Gloves.

Merrell shoes run small on me by a half size.I have the Pace Glove in size 9.5 and love them.Bought the same size of the Lithe Glove in cosmo purple because I love the color and hoped they would fit the same and be water resistant.The Lithe is much more stiff than the Pace and the Lithe length is slightly longer, perhaps a 9 would be better.I have read a lot of reviews about the heel fabric giving people blisters and cutting through the skin.The fabric is very stiff around the top of the heel and I think that if the stretchy material used on the Pace were put on the Lithe, that might solve the problem.I am on the fence about keeping these because I can feel the contours around my ankle and think that there is potential for blisters.The color is great great, however.

I bought these about 6 weeks before vacation for the express purpose of going on some trails with them.Took the time to break them in to be sure that I wouldn''t have any problem.A couple of key things I''ve learned about these shoes.Firstly, the description says that the shoe has a fabric upper for breathability and has been dipped into a solution which makes the shoe odor resistant.Please take it from me, this shoe does not breathe and will make your feet sweat.I''ve never had any issues with my shoes having odors except for this pair -a day of wearing them in the summer weather and you will feel the wetness of your feet, compound that over a few weeks and you will want to keep these shoes outside because they will stink.Secondly, this shoe does have good traction for trails -dirt, rocks, asphalt are all fine.Where this shoe critically fails at is when you step on something metal; like, a metal grate on a trail used for draining water out of a low area.As soon as your foot hits somewhat damp metal, it may as well be Teflon you are stepping on.I was coming down a mountain trail in Japan when I stepped on a grate and completely fell injuring myself.I couldn''t understand what could be the problem until later when I was back in the city and stepped on a man hole cover.. no traction what so ever.I expected more out of both Merrell and Vibram with regards to this shoe.

I admit I was disappointed when I tried my new Merrell Barefoot Lithe Gloves on.I wear nothing but shoes which can be called true "bare foot" technology. I wear a solid size 9 and these are really tight thru the arch(wraps around the foot like a glove) and heel.The toe box is roomy enough but I can only wear a thin sock with them.The way the sole wraps around the arch and corresponding top portion of your foot actually does force support to your arch which is bad in my book.I do not buy shoes with arch support as I have well developed arch muscles and this doesn''t feel good on my foot. That is a key point of buying and using "bare foot" shoes. Additionally, the way the shoe is constructed, I can not really feel the ground when I plant my foot like I am used to (i.e. Vibram 5 Fingers or Terraplanna Barefoot shoes).The soles are too rigid, they should be flexible. I am hoping the shoe upper "stretches out" a bit.That being said, it is a nice looking shoe and appears to be well constructed.I am going to have to ''break'' them in and and wear them for a while until they are comfortable enough for everyday usage.If that happens I might buy another pair in the future.If not, well.......no, back to the Terraplanna''s for everyday.

These are exceedingly comfortable sandals.They''re well-cushioned and true to size, and they fit perfectly right out of the box--no blisters while I was wearing them in!The Banana Bread color is a tad lighter than it appears to be on this website, but it''s still an attractive shade of medium brown.The stitching down the front is metallic golden brown.

Update: I bought two pairs, and three of the four sandals fell apart within four months.In two cases, the soles split, and in one case the leather upper frayed and detached itself from the sole.I would still give these sandals high marks for comfort and attractiveness, but not for durability.
